The 1-MNA Revolution: From Endothelial Protection to Enhanced Human Performance
Małgorzata Jakubowska, PhD, is a medical chemistry specialist with over a decade of experience in the research and development of 1-Methylnicotinamide (1-MNA) and its applications in preventive health and longevity science. She first encountered 1-MNA during her doctoral studies as a member of an interdisciplinary research team investigating bioactive metabolites and their role in metabolic and vascular regulation. This early academic involvement shaped her long-term professional focus on translational science and evidence-based supplementation.
At PHARMENA SA, she was responsible for scientific communication and medical information, bridging the gap between laboratory research, clinical findings, and practical therapeutic applications. In her current role as Scientific Manager, she leads the development of innovative dietary supplements and advanced 1-MNA–based formulations designed to support metabolic health, vascular function, and healthy aging.
Her work integrates biochemistry, clinical evidence, and regulatory strategy, ensuring that product development aligns with European medical and dietary supplement regulations. She has a strong professional interest in regulatory science, quality standards, and the evolving legal framework surrounding longevity interventions.
Dr. Jakubowska is particularly passionate about the broader life sciences ecosystem, from molecular pathways influencing aging processes to the responsible translation of scientific discoveries into safe, compliant, and effective health solutions.
At Longevity Med Summit 2026, she will share insights into the role of 1-MNA in modern longevity strategies, its clinical potential, and the regulatory challenges facing innovative bioactive compounds in Europe and beyond.
